We started our Beekeeping journey 5 years ago with 2 hives in the backyard of our house in Old Town Lafayette; since then we have grown to 16 hives in 3 locations around Boulder.  As our knowledge of the bees and their world grew, so did our passion for sustainable beekeeping practices.  We use only wooden boxes for our hive and wax based frames for the honeycomb so that we give the bees as natural a home as we can.  We don’t overharvest honey so the bees can make it through winter and start strong the next spring.  We live by the saying “Healthy Bees make Healthy Honey”
